Digital Products

Everything we sell at CeylonCooking is a digital product: downloadable PDF recipe guides and cooking collections. There is nothing physical to ship and nothing to return, so this policy is written specifically for digital goods.

Because our guides are delivered to you immediately after purchase, the usual rules for instant-download digital products apply, as described below.

Our 30-Day Satisfaction Note

We want you to love cooking from our guides. If you buy one of our PDF guides and you are genuinely not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will work with you to make it right, including a refund where appropriate.

We offer this as a goodwill commitment to our readers, not as a way to download a guide, keep it and ask for your money back. We may decline requests that appear to misuse this note.

How Refunds Are Handled (Gumroad)

Our purchases are processed by Gumroad, our checkout and delivery partner. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Gumroad, and the timing of the refund reaching your account depends on Gumroad and your bank or card provider.

Gumroad has its own refund terms that apply alongside ours. When you complete a purchase, you also agree to Gumroad's terms.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at hello@ceyloncooking.com within 30 days of your purchase. Please include the email address you used at checkout, the name of the guide you bought, and your Gumroad order or receipt number if you have it.

Telling us briefly what went wrong (a missing download, a problem with the file, or simply that the guide was not what you expected) helps us sort it out quickly. We aim to respond within a couple of business days.

When a Refund May Not Apply

We may be unable to offer a refund where a request is made well outside the 30-day window, where there is evidence the guide has been shared or redistributed in breach of our Terms of Service, or where the request appears to be an abuse of our satisfaction note.

Problems Downloading Your Guide

If your download link did not arrive or a file will not open, this is usually quick to fix and does not need a refund. Email hello@ceyloncooking.com and we will resend your guide or sort out the file so you get what you paid for.
