The Short Version
Some links on CeylonCooking are affiliate links, mostly for spices, pantry staples and kitchen equipment we mention in our recipes and guides. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission.
It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without our link.
How Affiliate Links Work
An affiliate link tells the retailer that you arrived from CeylonCooking. If you then make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale as a thank-you for the referral. That commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
These small commissions help us keep publishing free recipes, ingredient guides and country-specific sourcing tips.
Our Promise to You
We only point you towards spices, ingredients and tools we would genuinely suggest to a friend learning to cook Sri Lankan food. An affiliate relationship never changes which products we recommend or what we say about them.
If something is worth buying, we will say so; if a cheaper or simpler option works just as well, we will tell you that too. Our recipes and our honesty come first, every time.

You may find affiliate links inside recipes, ingredient pages, our spice and pantry guides, and our country sourcing guides (for example where to buy curry leaves or pandan in the US, UK, Australia or Canada). Not every link on the site is an affiliate link, and we are not paid for editorial coverage.
Third-Party Retailers
When you follow an affiliate link you leave CeylonCooking and shop directly with a third-party retailer. We do not control their prices, stock, shipping or policies, and your purchase is governed by that retailer's own terms and privacy policy.
Our Own Digital Products
Our digital PDF guides are products we make ourselves and sell through Gumroad. They are not affiliate products. When you buy one of our guides, you are supporting CeylonCooking directly.
